Noor Ahmed Gelal was born in 1977 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After completing his graduation he attended a basic course on Photography from a local Institute of Photography in Dhaka. He also participated numerous workshops as continuous professional development under reputed photographers like;
Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, Dr. Rashid Un Nabi, Roman Bezjak, Steve Fraser, etc.
Gelal took up professional photography in 2003. His major interest includes; Travel, Cultural, Social Issues, Nature, etc.
His works have been published in so many prestigious National and International newspapers, magazines and books like; The Daily Star, The Star Insight, The Samakal News Paper, The Prothom Alo, IFC (International Finance Corporation) World bank Group, The Guardian, ILO Pilot Survey Report 2010 (USA), aday.org Stockholm, Sweden, IPW 2013 (Indonesia), see.me, Photographers Forum, USA, Taiwan, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Russia, Uk, China, etc.
